St. Petersburg hosts sessions of Inter-Parliamentary Assemblies of CIS and EurAsEC

Sessions of the Inter-Parliamentary Assemblies of the CIS and the EurAsEC have opened in St. Petersburg today.

The session of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly will be running through June 1. The first day of the forum will feature a session of the United Commission for Harmonization of the Legislation in the Fight Against Terrorism, Crimes and Drug Trafficking in the CIS, sessions of the permanent commissions of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and a session of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly’s Council.

Within the framework of the EurAsEC Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, sessions of the permanent commissions of the Community, a bureau of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and a session of the EurAsEC will be held.

After the sessions of the EurAsEC Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, a press conference with the participation of representatives of Russia and Tajikistan will be held.
