Lukashenko defines core elements of national security for all CIS states
Combating terrorism, strengthening border security, and fighting transnational crime have become components of national security for every CIS state, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the CIS Heads of State Council summit in Tajikistan on 10 October, BelTA has learned.
“Combating terrorism, strengthening the reliability of our borders, and fighting transnational crime have long ceased to be tasks for individual agencies. They have become components of national security for all CIS nations,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
According to the president, the meeting's extensive agenda is direct confirmation that modern threats affect everyone.
