According to the operational data of the oblast administration, in Vitebsk Oblast organizations in the first quarter of 2020, 5 people died as a result of industrial accidents (the first quarter of 2019 - 10) and 20 people were seriously injured (18).

Thus, the enterprises of Vitebsk Oblast show a halving of fatal accidents, with an increase in accidents that led to serious industrial injuries by 11.1% compared to the same period in 2019.
