<p>Freight traffic in Belarus up by 3.6% in January-April 2021</P>

In January-April 2021, organizations and individual businessmen transported 117.9 million tonnes of cargoes, or 96.4% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.

In January-April 2021, organizations and individual businessmen transported 117.9 million tonnes of cargoes, or 96.4% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.

Freight turnover amounted to 39.1 billion tonne-kilometers, or 100.5% year-on-year.

In January-April of this year, 522,4 million people used passenger transport services, which accounted for 88.4% year-on-year. Passenger traffic amounted to 5,781.5 million passenger-kilometers, or 84.6% from January-April 2020.
