Serbia sees great potential in expanding cooperation with Belarus in transplantology, Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar told the media following the signing of a memorandum of cooperation in transplantology with the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry in Minsk on 24 September, BelTA has learned.

The document was signed by Zlatibor Lončar and Belarusian Healthcare Minister Aleksandr Khodzhayev. The parties expressed confidence that the memorandum would help broaden cooperation between healthcare institutions of the two countries.

“We agreed to initially focus on several areas: transplantology, emergency medical services, and oncology. These are the three directions in which we will be working in the near future,” Zlatibor Lončar said.
