Belarus and China have set up an industrial cooperation commission, Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov informed. The decision was formalized during the sixth meeting of the Belarus-China intergovernmental cooperation committee, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.

The 12th edition of the international arms and defense technology expo MILEX 2025 has kicked off in Minsk to run through 24 May. The event will feature companies of the defense industry complex from Belarus and other five countries, BelTA learned from the State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus.

The Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation approved the bill to amend the Law of the Republic of Belarus ”On State Secrets" at a sitting of the second session, BelTA learned.

Belarus and China intend to expand cooperation in digital transformation. Belarus’ new venue - Minsk International Exhibition Center Belexpo is interesting for business, Sergey Voronkov, President of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, told the media, BelTA learned.

At the moment, educational institutions of Belarus and China have more than 800 direct cooperation agreements signed, which makes it possible for the parties to implement joint scientific and educational projects and organize academic exchanges. The matter was discussed during a meeting between Belarusian Education Minister Andrei Ivanets and China’s Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng, BelTA learned from the press service of the Education Ministry.

Representatives of the Justice Ministries discussed the preparations for the 19th meeting of the CIS Justice Ministers Council due in Minsk on 25 June 2025 at a meeting in the CIS headquarters in Minsk on 12 May, BelTA learned from the legal department of the CIS Executive Committee.

A Belarusian military delegation led by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko is visiting Moscow to participate in the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, BelTA learned from the Belarusian  Defense Ministry.
