Agriculture industry takes a leading position in terms of the number of personnel and the production volume. The agriculture industry is represented by 12 agriculture cooperative producers, two unitary companies, two municipal unitary agriculture companies, the republican unitary enterprise “Druzhbinets”, republican unitary agriculture company named after Piotr Masherov, Senno regional agro service, 18 farms. The agricultural producers of the region specialize in dairy and meat cattle breeding and production of grain, potato, flax, vegetables.

There are six major companies in the industrial sector of the region, namely, Senno Plant SOM, Senno Flax Factory, Bogushevsk Flax Factory, Bogushevsk Forestry, Cooperative Industry Center, Bogushevsk Distillery.

The regional manufacturers specialize in production of bread, bakery, sausages, confectionary, butter, dairy products, cheese, soft drinks, wine, dried milk, saw-timber, flax fiber, spirits and garments.
