Lukashenko sends professional holiday greetings to firefighters

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated current and retired employees of emergencies agencies on their professional holiday - the Fire Service Day of Belarus, BelTA learned from  the press service of the head of state.

"Each of you has chosen the unique profession that requires  courage, bravery and highest skills. After all, not only the safety of material values, but also the most important thing - people's lives depend on the efficiency and coherence of your teamwork,” the message of congratulations reads. "You are always ready to act, always at your combat post, successfully countering the fire element and other dangers. This is why Belarusian rescuers enjoy such trust and respect from compatriots."

The head of state noted that the emergencies agencies and units  have everything necessary to quickly respond to any emerging threats of a man-made and natural nature, to solve the tasks at the proper level, ensuring peace and calm in Belarus. "Let us keep it this way," the president said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked all active employees and heroic veterans who sacredly preserve traditions, who are faithful to their duty and the Fatherland: "I wish you good health, happiness, prosperity and good luck, and peace and well-being to your families."
