Lukashenko inspects Gomel Oblast, Minsk Oblast from helicopter
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko assessed the state of harvesting in the country while on board a helicopter on 4 August, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko had been on a working trip to Gomel Oblast in the previous two days. During the visit, the president focused on disaster response and relief efforts in the region, harvesting, field preparation and sowing of winter crops.
On Sunday, the head of state also examined the situation in the northwest of Gomel Oblast and southern districts of Minsk Oblast from his helicopter. Aleksandr Lukashenko assessed progress of the harvesting effort, the condition of reclaimed lands and the work of the Slavkali enterprise.
