World AIDS Day, which appears on the calendar on December 1, has a theme each year.
Today this topic will be “International Solidarity, Shared Responsibility”. While attention is now focused on the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on people's lives and well-being, World AIDS Day remains relevant, reminding that raising awareness of HIV remains critical.
