Vladimir Andreichenko demands to stop wage payment at expense of loans

Chairman of the Vitebsk oblast executive committee Vladimir Andreichenko has demanded to stop wage payment at the expense of loans. He also noted that some regions have not paid wages for April yet.

According to Vladimir Andreichenko, it happened due to irresponsibility of heads of agricultural companies and regional authorities.

According to specialists, in April this year, agricultural companies of Vitebsk oblast received around Br25 billion – the sum which is equal to the month’s wages fund - from the sale of dairy products only. Taking into account the sales of vegetables, meat and other agricultural products the proceeds of the companies made up Br45 billion. 

“We will not issue the loans against the guarantees of the oblast executive committee any more. We can not feed those who do not earn money”, Vladimir Andreichenko highlighted.
