Nation-wide Greco-Roman wrestling tournament opens in Vitebsk

The 38th nation-wide Greco-Roman tournament in honour of the memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Lev Dovator, a native of the Beshenkovichi region, Vitebsk oblast, will open in Vitebsk today BelTA has been told in the department of physical culture, sport and tourism of the Vitebsk oblast executive committee.

According to specialists, about 120 athletes from all over Belarus will compete in the eight weight categories. The winners will be announced on May 5. They will get the right to the title of a master of sports of the Republic of Belarus. Prize-winners will be awarded honorary diplomas.
