Italian businessmen interested in setting up transport logistic center in Vitebsk oblast

Italian businessmen are interested in setting up a transport logistic center in Vitebsk oblast, BelTA has been informed in the administration of the free economic zone Vitebsk after a visit of the Italian delegation led by President of the Chamber for Commerce for Central Europe Gian Carlo Murkovic to Vitebsk.

According to specialists, Vitebsk oblast attracts the Italian businessmen due to its profitable geographical position in Europe and highly skilled professionals. Moreover, the Italian businessmen would like to organize the production of wooden trays designed for transportation of construction materials (bricks, blocks and etc.) in the region.

During the visit, the Italian guests got familiar with the business opportunities of the free economic zone Vitebsk. They had talks with representatives of the Belarusian companies Vitebskoblautotrans, Vitebskmiasomolprom, Vitebskenergo, OAO Vesta and others. The sides agreed to establish business cooperation.
