Estonian art group to take part in international festival in Dubrovno

Estonian amateur art group “Sladkaya Yagoda” of the Cultural Center “Oru” from the town of Kohtla-Jarve will take part in the 14th international festival of song and music “Dnyaprouskiya Galasy u Dubrouna” which will be held in the town of Dubrovno of the Vitebsk oblast on June 23-24.

As BelTA learnt in the Belarusian Consulate General in Tallinn, the Estonian singers will perform in Belarusian and Estonian during a concert-presentation and a gala-concert of participants of the festival. According to art leader of the Estonian group Antonina Andreeva, during the concerts she would like to establish close contacts with Belarusian art groups and invite them to visit Estonia.

Taking part in the festival will be the art groups which represent Belarusian diasporas in the Baltic states, Ukraine and Poland. The main goal of the project is to attract Belarusian natives to cooperate with Belarus, to take part in the public and cultural life of the Belarusian state.
