Belorusneft to open first EV supercharger complex in Minsk soon

The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft will open the first complex of superfast electric vehicle charging stations in Minsk, BelTA learned from Belorusneft Director General Aleksandr Lyakhov.

Belorusneft is the company in charge of setting up and operating a chain of electric vehicle charging stations in Belarus. At present it operates over 600 EV charging stations. Belorusneft intends to build up the capacity to provide EV charging services to consumers within the next few years, the executive noted.

In his words, a complex of superfast charging stations will open in Minsk soon. “It will be a trend of the next few years because today's consumers already need fast charging infrastructure,” he stressed.
