Belarus to lift restrictions on size of pensions for working seniors
The initiative to lift restrictions on the size of pensions for working seniors was supported by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Yuri Senko told reporters, BelTA has learned.
Yuri Senko recalled that this topic was raised during a meeting with the head of state back in June. The proposed innovation was about the Individual Income Coefficient . Currently, a pension is not paid to a working pensioner with the Individual Income Coefficient above 1.3. Thus, some working pensioners actually lose some amount of pension payments. Now this restriction will be lifted. "Today, the head of state fully supported the idea, and we expect the decree to be issued soon to lift this restriction. Thus, a working pensioner will receive 100% of their honestly earned pension and 100% of salary," Yuri Senko told reporters.
