Friedrichshafen invests EUR 1m in Polotsk’s water supply system

Friedrichshafen, the twin town of the Belarusian town of Polotsk, has invested some Euro 1 million in the water supply system of Polotsk during the past 14 years, Deputy Chief of German Embassy to Belarus Fried Nielsen told BelTA. A new water plant will be inaugurated on May 31. Attending the ceremony will be also a representative delegation from Germany headed by Lord Mayor of Friedrichshafen. Friedrichshafen and Polotsk established partnership relations in 1990. The Belarusian side shares its experience in town management with its German partner. In turn, the German twin town considers the partnership relations between the two towns as mutually beneficial.
