Renovated Summer Amphitheater of Vitebsk to open festival program today

Show-presentation “Hello, Festival!” will open today a concert season in the renovated Summer Amphitheater of Vitebsk, BelTA learnt in the directorate office of the festival.

Patricia Kaas, Valery Leontiev, Piotr Dranga, Inna Afanasieva, Irina Dorofeeva, Piotr Elfimov, Anatoly Yarmolenko and band “Syabry”, St. Petersburg State Academic Theater of Ballet under the direction of Boris Eifman and also participants of the 16th International Song Contest “Vitebsk 2007” will take part in the first concert of the festival.

After renovation, the Summer Amphitheater can seat more than 6 thousand people. The technological equipment for the renovated concert hall was produced by the best world producers including the French company L-Acoustic which has assembled additional sound equipment.

The Summer Amphitheater of Vitebsk has been renovated on the instructions of the head of state. About Br35 billion was assigned for this project.
