President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to meet with Hugo Chavez June 29
Alexander Lukashenko will meet with President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez on June 29, BelTA learnt in the Presidential Administration.
The two leaders will meet first in the narrow and then in the extended format. They are set to discuss bilateral cooperation, including issues on boosting cooperation in the trade-economic and energy spheres.
They will take stock of the progress made in implementation of achievements reached during the previous visit of Hugo Chavez to Belarus in July last year.
“We can expect that the Presidents will update the areas of the Belarusian-Venezuelan cooperation. The Governments are likely to receive new offers on mutually beneficial projects,” the source noted.
