Parliamentarians to discuss legislation in energy issues

Deputies of the Belarusian Chamber of Representatives will discuss the legislation in energy issues during the training seminar which will be held in the town of Novolukoml in Vitebsk oblast, BelTA learnt in the press-service of the lower chamber of the Belarusian Parliament.

During the sitting, representatives of the Energy Ministry and the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences will present their reports dedicated to the nuclear energy, the role of applied fundamental research. Participants of the seminar will also discuss the renewable power sources, the impact of the nuclear power station on nature and population, the research potential of this country in the field of nuclear energy. The deputies are expected to pay a visit to the Lukoml Hydroelectric Power Station.
