Nearly 150 companies to partake in 5th exhibition BelarusEXPO-2007 in Lithuania
Nearly 150 companies will take part in the 5th national exhibition BelarusEXPO-2007 scheduled for October 3-6 in Vilnius, BelTA has learnt from the embassy of Belarus to Lithuania.
The embassy noted that the experience of the diplomatic representation office in holding national exhibitions proves permanent interest of Lithuanian business circles in industrial and sci-tech potential of Belarus, expansion of mutually beneficial contacts. Every year the amount of Belarusian companies presenting their products for the further advancement to the Lithuanian and European markets are growing. The 2005 exhibition was attended by over 125 Belarusian companies and scientific organizations.
The national exhibition BelarusEXPO-2007 will include round tables to consider opportunities and investment guidelines to the Belarusian economy, promising cooperation between technological parks of the two countries. The sides will highlight interaction in the construction field and supplies of building materials to Lithuania. The exhibition will hold presentations at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the companies of the Industry Ministry, concerns Belgospischeprom, Bellesbumprom and Belneftekhim.
The embassy hopes that the participation in the exhibition will help Lithuanian partners to enrich the knowledge about the economic potential of Belarus, get familiar with latest achievements in various areas of the national economy and promote the development of business contacts.
The 5th national exhibition BelarusEXPO-2007 is a pivotal event of the Days of Economy, Science and Culture of Belarus held in Lithuania in September-October and dedicated to the 15th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
