Kristina Svetlichnaya wins Grand Prix of children’s song festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina

9-year old Kristina Svetlichnaya from Minsk has won the Grand Prix of the international children’s song festival which was held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BelTA learnt from art leader of the pop-art studio “Kolorit” Boris Osmolovskiy. 

Attending the contest were 16 singers from 9 countries. The professional jury panel recognized Kristina’s song “Song is a Bird” as the best one. The girl was also awarded the prize of the children’s jury and the television prize for interpretation. Oleg Eliseenkov and Boris Osmolovskiy, the authors of the composition, were awarded the prize for the best song.

Kristina Svetlichnaya has attended the pop-art studio led by Boris Osmolovskiy for two years. Today, she acts in the performance “Adventures of Bremen Musicians” of the Belarusian Musical Theater. Kristina is also preparing to take part in the festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk. She will present her song “Song is a Bird” there. “Oh, Spring” created by Oleg Eliseenkov and Boris Osmolovskiy will become the second song.
