Belarus wins three medals a world juniour weightlifting championships
Irina Mishchuk of Belarus picked up gold in the 53kg category in the ladies competition at the world juniour weightlifting championships in Italy, BelTA has been told in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. She pressed 169kg (82kg in the snatch and 87kg in the clean and jerk). Kristina Kolosa claimed bronze in the same weight category. Another Belarusian, Valentina Liakhovets, won silver in the 48kg ladies competition. The world championships will finish on Saturday, September 1.
