Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has issued an instruction to provide agricultural companies with enough fuel for the harvesting campaign, Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Sidorskiy told media summing up results of his report to the Belarusian head of state today.
The Prime Minister noted, everything will be done in Belarus to gather in harvest as fast as possible.
“We will do our best to prepare storage facilities, open-air grain storage grounds, to buy equipment to process grain”, said Sergei Sidorskiy.
He had also informed the head of state about the readiness of machinery for the harvesting campaign. “There are issues concerning the provision of agricultural companies with fuel during the harvesting campaign. Fuel reserves are stocked to last for ten days in order to complete harvesting as soon as possible”, stressed the Premier.
By now the stocked haylage has exceeded last year’s figures in four times and reached 3 million tonnes. Sergei Sidorskiy told the President, the grass cutting campaign is going fast, with the necessary mechanised teams engaged. According to the Premier, the President drew attention to the necessity to cut grass in waste lands.
