Belarus President promotes border guard chief, presidential security chief to next military ranks
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has promoted Chairman of the State Border Guard Committee of Belarus, Colonel Igor Rachkovsky and chief of the Security Service of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Vtyurin to their next military ranks.
In line with the decree the Belarusian head of state signed on September 11, Igor Rachkovsky has been promoted to Major-General, Andrei Vtyurin — Colonel, the press service of the President of Belarus told BelTA.
