Alexander Lukashenko: Belarusian prosecution has tangibly contributed to foundation of rule-of-law state

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Belarusian prosecution officers and veterans of prosecution bodies on the Prosecution Officer Day and the 85th anniversary of the Belarusian prosecution foundation, the press service of the President of Belarus told BelTA.

The head of state emphasised, since the establishment the Belarusian public prosecution has tangibly contributed to creating the foundation of the rule-of-law state, has become a reliable pillar of the presidential authority in overcoming unlawful processes, building up public security, order and stability.

The congratulation extended to the prosecution officers and veterans of prosecution bodies reads, “Your principled legal efforts have won respect and authority with the people. At the forefront of the fight against crime, public prosecution ensures the stable operation of the entire state mechanism, positively influencing the achievement of social, political and economic goals. Your professionalism and high morale make people’s faith in the rule of law and justice grow stronger. Today your insistence, consistence, precise and smooth work mean a lot for the reliable protection of rights and freedoms of Belarusians, national interests and the effectiveness of the fight against crime and corruption”.
